Embellishing Group History

Your Greatest Asset in Business

Businesses today are continually bombarded with techniques on how to find new customers, how to prospect and convert leads.

Clearly growth can come from new clients, however, it is vital that you never forget the value your current clients. Don’t neglect them.

Whilst you are targeting new customers to help grow your business, never forget the current clients who helped grow your business.

Recently Annette was making room in our office when she discovered a hand written order from a client dated 1983. The copperplate script on aged paper showed us two things.

Firstly it demonstrates the influence of  technology in how we do business, but importantly it is evidence that loyalty still exists. We have supplied this client with their specialty print needs for 33 years and continue to do so.

When you have a great customer  do what you can to keep them

  • Keep in contact
  • Understand their needs
  • Provide solutions to meet those needs

Whilst you are targeting new customers to help grow your business, never forget the current clients who helped grow your business.

Duplex and die cut for bespoke business cards

Dazzle with Duplex

Is your business card a show stopper? Does the invitation to your next event scream “can’t” miss?

It’s not what you say – it is how you say it.

Bespoke Card Duplex and Foil StampEmbellishing Group has included the visually stunning Duplex and Triplex process to our range. You now have another option in your creative arsenal.

Duplexing is the process of bonding two boards together to create a heavier layered board. Triplexing is the addition of a third board. This simple technique opens the opportunity to create a multitude of effects and a truly bespoke brand presentation.

As with our other techniques, the duplexing process is crafted in house by our skilled team with a relentless attention to detail, allowing greater control over quality, timing and costs.

Your beautifully duplexed product can combine coloured stock to give the edge a simple, yet eye catching sandwich of colour. This process can be used in conjunction with most other techniques.

Express your brand in the most impressive way by combining quality stock, colour and techniques.

Can Print Survive Digital?

Embellishing Group ArmyWith the creation of new technology there can be instances where the old becomes obsolete. Will this become the way of printing?

Put simply, no. But of course, the cynic might suggest, “well you would think that”.

Printing and embellishing techniques will always have a place, but its purpose may evolve.

Once it was the only method of recording, reporting and disseminating information. And the new technology may have indeed stepped into that role of fast distribution of information. Be it in digital printing or bypassing printing altogether.

Another role of embellishing and printing was to separate the bearer from others. Whether it was a nobleman demonstrating his rank with a seal or a financial institution positioning itself as one of luxury and wealth with heavily embossed and foil stamped documents; it was done by quality and detail of the printing.

Today these embellishing techniques continue that tradition. Where the product is to differentiate, impress or celebrate the use of foil stamping, embossing, gilding and duplex are ideal techniques.

Edge Gilding Cards

New to Embellishing Group…….

Edge Gilding Cards

At Embellishing Group we are always seeking new processes and products for our clients. Choice for our clients is important. The more options we can offer the greater creativity resulting in truly bespoke products.

We are very excited! We have expanded our range to include Edge Gilding. This technique is seeing a resurgence from its archaic origins. Today it is a detail technique that makes impressive impact.

Edge Gilding is the final finish that exudes simple elegance in a understated metallic finish or an attention seeking pop of unexpected colour.

Our new edge gilding equipment is en route to us and should be in operation by the start of September. Talk to our team about your upcoming needs.

Embellishing Guide

YourEmbellishingGuide1_smallThe digital world just doesn’t quite do justice for our crafted embellishing techniques. We can try and photograph the product to catch the light, but our techniques are tactile. They need to be seen and felt to truly visualise the effect.

Over the past months it has become increasingly obvious we  needed to produce an embellishing guide for re-sellers, designers and end users.

We have produced this document to clarify the different processes that are available and to showcase the high level of quality and detail you receive from our company.

It is a simple and clear document that allows you to know what you need to request in order to create the ideal bespoke finish. Our friendly staff are happy to talk you through the options. And with this document in hand we will all be on the same page.
